Artist and Studio

I have always been an artist. I started with crayons and worked my way through almost every artistic medium. Some worked well for me and others I'm still learning to work with. I graduated from University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth with a BFA in Photography. After years of working at photo labs, newspapers and shooting freelance work, I decided to try my hand at fiber arts. My first attempts during college were so dreadful that I gave up quilt making for nearly 15 years before trying it again. I currently quilt, bead, embroider, knit and have been playing with making my own glass beads. There is always something new and exciting to make around the corner. |
